Description We observed 70 patients: 40 patients with rotavirus infection and 30 patients with viral-bacterial intestinal co-infection. The age of the patient varied between 2 and 10 years. It was found that introduction of Arbidol in doses that correspond the patients’ age in 5-day course of complex therapy reliably reduces the duration of acute period of the disease: at rotavirus monoinfection (p < 0,001) and at viral and bacterial (p < 0,05). The time of elimination of rotavirus from patients’ stool also reduced significantly. In the group of patients who received the treatment with Arbidol, there was a clear tendency towards normalization of the quantitative content (CFU/g) of normal flora of the intestine, but only some of its representatives — lactobacilli and enterococci. 
Под наблюдением находилось 70 больных: ротавирусной инфекцией (40) и вирусно-бактериальной кишечной ко-инфекцией (30) в возрасте от 2-х до 10 лет. Установлено, что включение в комплексную терапию этих форм заболеваний противовирусного препарата Арбидол в возрастных дозировках 5-и дневным курсом способствует достоверному сокращению продолжительности острого периода заболевания: при ротавирусной моноинфекции (р < 0,001) и при вирусно-бактериальной (р < 0,05). Также существенно сокращались и сроки элиминации ротавируса с испражнениями больных. В группах больных, получавших в комплексной терапии Арбидол, имела место отчетливая тенденция к нормализации количественного содержания (КОЕ/г) нормофлоры кишечника, но только отдельных ее представителей — лактобактерий и энтерококков.
