Donald Trump’s “Crippled America” draws nearly catastrophic picture of the modern day US: education, medicine, jobs, infrastructure, taxes, military, foreign policy everything is a disaster, and the United States are falling behind many other countries. Professional politicians are to blame for that. Politicians do not follow their election pledges; they carry on international negotiations neglecting American best interests. According to Trump politicians have lost will and skills to win, govern and fight for America. He considers himself a man of action whose life is the best proof of that. This election campaign book is a wonderful example of PR showing a winner, a non-political figure, “selling” an outsider candidates to angry electorate who is already tired of Washington insiders.

Виной тому - «профессиональные» политики. Они не выполняют своих предвыборных обещаний и ведут международные переговоры, не заботясь об американских интересах. Политики, считает Трамп, разучились выигрывать, управлять и бороться за Америку. Себя же автор считает человеком, которой всей своей жизнью доказал, что он человек дела. Эта предвыборная книга - пиар образа победителя, не-политика, «продажа» несистемного кандидата разгневанному избирателю, уставшему от вашингтонских завсегдатаев. |
