Description This article is a systematic review of the 10 years that is dedicated to the analysis of the diagnostic efficiency of imaging techniques for detection of cardiac tumors. The main features of both benign and malignant neoplasms of the heart are precisely described in the article. Moreover, it is demonstrated sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography in diagnosis of primary and metastatic cardiac tumors.
